Jose H. Garcia

Account Manager

Growing up in Culiacán, Sinaloa, Mexico, agriculture has always been a part of my life. As a fourth-generation farmer, I developed a passion for the industry from an early age, spending time in the fields with my grandfather and father.

Before joining the company, I spent eight years in foodservice, working in both procurement and sales roles with companies including US Foods and Gordon Food Service. These experiences gave me a broader understanding of customer needs, product applications, logistics, and seasonality across growing regions including Mexico, Brazil, Ecuador, Honduras, and Peru. I also spent several years operating a hydroponic farm, giving me insight into emerging agricultural practices and the future of food production.

My approach is grounded in something my father taught me: your word matters. I strive to build relationships through knowledge, service, preparation, and trust—helping our customers feel confident in the products we provide and the partnerships we build.

Since September 2001

We know produce. We know Nogales.

Harvest Pride started with a straightforward idea: bring the best produce we can find in Mexico through the Nogales border while maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.

We’ve built our business around relationships—with growers, shippers, distributors and the people who depend on us to get the job done.
